My MRI 4
“My MRI 4″ is the 4th image out of 4. This image was created by scanning in the artist’s MRI, reverseing the image, and then adding red watercolor. The artist added a walnut in the image for fun. Can you find it? The image is approximently 18″ by 24″‘, is an orginial image, the only one made, and sells for $300. The image can not be reproduced without the artists permission and is copyrighted. The artists has Dystonia, which is a rare movement disorder. The artist also has dyslexia, ADD, and recurring major vision problems. The artists would like people to comment to this post.

“Roots” is an orginial painting which is approximently 14″ by 18″ and is painted with Golden Fluid Acrylics. This painting was created soon after the artists lost her mother and she felt like her roots had been taken away. The artists painted the second figure because she felt “rootless” and her life had been uproot due to her mother’s death and her own illness and medical issues. “My MRI” is a image of my MRI after it was scaned into a computer, reversed, and then red watercolor was added. This orginal and is 18″ by 24″ and there is only one of them. There are two other scanned images that go along with it., which the artists will posted in the next few days. I had fun experimenting with the MRI images.
